I'm back from the 2012 Zumba Convention in Orlando, Florida.  It was a great time and I can't wait to share the things I have been learning with my class.  You have already been enjoying some of the new songs and dance styles and there is more to come!  Here are a few fun pics, including one of me and Beto (founder of Zumba!) taken by the man himself.   This bottom pic is a preview of what will be coming to Utah soon with the You Should Be Dancing Utah event on September 1.  Enjoy!

Thanks to those of you who joined me for Saturday morning Zumba on my birthday!  I had a great time with all of you and felt very celebrated.  You are a super-fun class and I enjoy every hour with you!!

St. Patty's Day Mischief

So much fun on St. Patrick's Day morning.  Luckily the leprechauns did not mess up our studio the way they did to Maria's house ;).  We did get some photos though...

Carnaval Brazil Celebration was great!

Morning ZUMBA classes through UVU continuing ed

You may have recently received the UVU Continuing Education catalog in the mail and noticed ZUMBA classes in Saratoga Springs.  It's true - I will be offering ZUMBA through Community Ed!  To register call 801-850-9437 or visit their website   http://ce.uvu.edu/winter.  Classes are $39 for four weeks (8 total classes).  The classes run Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-10:30AM.  This is a separate set of classes run through Utah Valley University.  They will be held at the karate studio location.

February 7-March 1  Beginning Zumba (a little slower paced class with extra breakdowns of moves).
March 6-March 29  Intermediate Zumba (similar to a regular ZUMBA class, Beginning Zumba not required).

Only one week left until the Zumba bag drawing!

You only have one week left to get yourself entered into the drawing for Zumbawear bags!  On Wednesday, February 1, I will be doing a drawing for two awesomely stylish Zumba brand bags.  They have all the flair of the Zumba merchandise and can be yours free!  Check them out at tonight's class at 9:00pm or at any class until then. Everyone that gets signed up for the Z-pass in January will be entered into the drawing, and EVERY new Z-pass member gets a Zumba shirt!  What do you do??

All you do is come to class and sign up for the Z-pass unlimited monthly membership (which saves you a ton of cash) and you will be entered into the drawing.  Just show up a couple of minutes before class starts and we will get you going.  There is no contract with the Z-pass and it bring your cost for classes down to $1.89 each!!  Plus no more worrying about punching cards every time.  See you soon!  and GOOD LUCK!!
